How to use the internet for your water supply: New report
NEW YORK (Reuters) – Consumers are increasingly opting for water-saving methods for their drinking water supply and some of those are coming from the same sources that the U.S. government says it does not need.
In a new report, Bloomberg News said more than 60 percent of Americans are using tap water supplies from private companies, such as Coca-Cola Co, PepsiCo Inc and Nestle Group NV.
The new report comes amid growing concerns about the health and environmental impacts of fracking in the United States and in other countries.
The report also found that the percentage of Americans who use tap water from private sources has fallen over the past decade, from nearly 30 percent in 2012 to 17 percent in 2017.
A total of 6.3 million U.P. people are connected to private water supplies, Bloomberg said, citing figures from the U,S.
